I think that also other cd images are made from original disc, but that's not the point. I'm curious, have you really played in DC with more than 4 players? It would would be great to play 3vs3 or even 4vs4, but we have tried that and game just doesn't allow to connect more than 3 users to one server, we also have original discs, from SoldOut series or from some game magazine, but it has no matter. Maybe some other settings or tricks are required.
Firewall isn't problem, only one port need to be unlocked or forwared (if you have server).
